When creating a product, the packaging is more than just a wrapper - it’s a chance to tell your story. A well-crafted package design not only catches the eye, but also resonates on a personal level, creates an emotional connection, and helps customers remember and trust your brand.

Take ANGI for example, a line of shampoo and hair masks produced by the bright, ever positive and energetic hairstylist Angelina. The label for such a product simply had to be as unique as the person behind it, had to reflect its creator. And she had the perfect starting point - her own neurographics artwork.

(Neurographics is a creative drawing technique that transforms flowing lines and shapes into expressive, emotional compositions.)

I took Angelina’s original hand-drawn piece, carefully vectorized it, and built an entire line of packaging around it. Each product features a different variation of the artwork, with colors thoughtfully chosen to highlight its distinct qualities. The label design for Keep Your Color shampoo and mask, for example, celebrates vibrancy, showcasing the most colorful version of the artwork. The design for hydration products, on the other hand, is in calming shades of blue, symbolizing water and moisture.

This approach unified the line visually, while letting each product stand out on its own. The result? A packaging design that combines uniqueness with a deep sense of personal connection to its maker - colorful, vibrant, and unmistakably Angi.

And the outcome? Beyond expectations. The packaging resonated so strongly with her clients that the entire stock sold out within a month. That’s what purposeful design can achieve.

By infusing your story into your product, you’re advancing from merely selling an item, to offering a piece of who you are. And it’s that sense of authenticity that resonates with people the most. It ignites their curiosity and inspires them to engage and share in the journey.

Your product is one of a kind.

Its packaging should be too. Let’s talk!
